“Just south of Salt Lake City, StubHub opened the doors to its Center of Excellence for Customer Service and Trust Operations in Draper, Utah yesterday, hosting its growing employee base, leadership team, more than a dozen representatives from local offices – including Utah Congresswoman Mia Love of the state’s 4th District – and a very special guest, beloved by Utahns, Thurl ‘Big T’ Bailey, in a celebration of its commitment to serving its customers in its new digs.
Led by Sr. Director of Global Customer Service and Utah native Daron Fowlks, this new national customer service center represents what is often the first touchpoint the company has with its customers, and will eventually be home to 400+ StubHub employees. The operation is the company’s hub for one-to-one customer contact, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, with a mission to connect people to inspiring live event experiences.
Speaking of inspiring live event experiences, those in attendance yesterday got a surprise visit from former Utah Jazz and NBA great Thurl ‘Big T’ Bailey, who not only took photos with StubHub employees and signed autographs, but provided some uplifting and inspiring words about his journey to success and the importance of personal relationships – words that certainly resonated with a group of people committed to personally connecting with StubHub’s customers everyday.”
